- DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adult
2 tablets are administered twice a day regardless of meal, in the morning and before sleep.
1) Gastric·Duodenal ulcer
2 tablets are administered twice a day or 4 tablets are administered once a day before sleep. Especially, administering 4 tablets twice a day for duodenal ulcer patient in the morning and before sleep may achieve high treatment rate. Dose is same for treatment of ulcer due to NSAID or prevention of gastric·duodenal ulcer from long-term NSAID usage. Normally, disease due to NSAID administration within 4 weeks is cured within 8 weeks, but the recovery may slow down depending on the patient. For recurrent ulcer patients who showed improvement with short-term usage of the drug, two tablets are given once a day before sleep.
2) GERD
For 8 weeks, 2 tablets are given twice a day or 4 tablets once before sleep. But severe GERD patient may increase to 4 tablets four times a day.
3) Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
For initial dosage, two tablets are given 3 times a day and it can be increased based on demand. For severe disease, it can be given up to 6 g as ranitidine by doctor's order.
4) Upper digestive tract bleeding due to digestive ulcer, acute stress ulcer and acute gastric mucosal lesion
If oral administration becomes possible, it is converted from injection to oral administration, which two tablets are given twice a day.
5) Pre-anesthesia medication(Prevention of Mendelson's syndrome)
2 tablets are given 2 hours before induction. In such case, it is more preferrable to administer twi tablets in the night before surgery.
