- DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

As sildenafil, recommended dose of 25~50mg is given orally once a day at 1 hour before sex, and depending on the cases, it can be administered from 4 hours to 30 minutes before sex. Dose can be regulated depending on effectiveness and tolerability.
Following patient may increase serum concentration of sildenafil, so initial dosage should be controlled to 25 mg.
- 65 or older(AUC 40 % increase)
- hepatic failure(liver cirrhosis: 80 %)
- severe renal failure (creatinine clearence 30 mL/min or less : 100 %)
- If CYP3A4 suppressent (ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin (182 %), etc., when combining with saquinavir (210 %)) shows high blood content, it may increase effect and abnormal response rate.
- For patient taking ritonavir in combination, it must not exceed 25mg as maximum daily administereation for 48 hours.
