    • DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
    • Usually 7.5 mg / kg of body weight is administered every 12 hours (15 mg / Kg / day). The duration of administration is usually 5 to 10 days. Because this drug has no change in bioavailability due to food, it should be administered regardless of diet. Can be taken with meals or with milk. For patients with renal failure whose creatinine clearance is less than 30 mL / min, the dose should be reduced to half. These patients should not be given more than 14 days.
      Mycobacterial infection
       7.5 to 15 mg / kg of body weight of children should be administered every 12 hours (15 to 30 mg / kg / day). If clinical improvement is observed, it should be administered continuously. Other antimycobacterial agents such as ethambutol, clofazimin, and rifampin should be administered concomitantly.
       
       Add the appropriate amount of water and dissolve well. The concentration of this preparation is 250mg / 5mL.
        Package unit (2,500mg / 50mL) = Amount of water (27mL) = Total volume prepared (50mL) = Prepared concentration (250mg / 5mL)
        Package unit (3,500 mg / 70 mL) = Amount of water (37 mL) = Total volume prepared (70 mL) = Prepared concentration (250 mg / 5 mL)

       Store the prepared medicine at 15 to 30 ° C (do not refrigerate) and use it within 14 days. Shake before use.
