Pediatric: As formoterol fumarate, 4 μg per kg of body weight per day (0.1 g as dry syrup) is given orally dissolved in 2 to 3 divided doses.
Age (10 to 11 years): 1 day (as formoterol fumarate salt) (120 to 160 μg) = 1 day (as dry syrup) (3-4 g)
Age (7 to 9 years): 1 day (as formoterol fumarate salt) (80 to 120 μg) = 1 day (as dry syrup) (2 to 3 g)
Age (4 to 6 years): 1 day (as formoterol fumarate hydrochloride) (60 to 80 μg) = 1 day (as dry syrup) (1.5 to 2 g)
Age (1 to 3 years): 1 day (as formoterol fumarate salt) (40 to 60 μg) = 1 day (as dry syrup) (1 to 1.5 g)
Age (6 months to 1 year old): 1 day (as formoterol fumarate) (20 to 40 μg) = 1 day (as dry syrup) (0.5 to 1 g)
